Kids Yoga Camp
May 27 – 31, 2015
For girls and boys from 9 to 12 years
A Five-day program for up to 20 children including accommodation and meals
Participation is free of charge
Program Description
Achieving something in life depends on one’s ability to concentrate. And that can be the hardest thing for a child! Their minds are like little naughty slings that jump quickly from one thought to the next, always ready to be distracted by a mobile phone, I-pod or video game. Especially in this day and age, with all these electronic devices around, it is a special challenge for the children to stay with a clear mind with one task. But there is a way to reduce this unrest and the constant pursuit of sensations and material satisfactions: Yoga
In our summer camp, native Indian children from Rajasthan have the opportunity to practice creative and healthy yoga, that they can easily incorporate into their daily routine after these five days:
- Asana
- Meditation
- Pranayama
- Mantra
- Healthy eating behaviour
That is included:
- 1 yoga class with yoga mat
- 1 Group activity (dancing, music or theather)
- 1 Hour Karma Yoga
- Sport
- Puja (Prayer)
- Bed in the dormitory
- 3 meals
- English lessons (all levels)
