Overview
Rajasthan, also known as the Land of Kings, is the largest state in India in terms of area. It is located in the west of the country and most of it consists of the great Thar Desert.
During this diverse two weeks tour, we get to know all aspects of Rajasthan (the desrt Thar, beautiful historical towns, the oldest mountain range of India- the Aravallis) We get an unadulterated insight into the traditions and religions of the Hindus, Muslims and Jains, all the while traveling by bike! Mostly you can walk on quiet roads through the hilly desert landscape. Furthermore, we have the pleasure to take a sightseeing bike tour in Jaipur.
A very special highlight will be the Jeep Safari through the rocky area at the Jawai Dam – the perfect landscape for free-living leopards!
Also the visit of old castles, magnificent temples and colorful markets may not be missing, of course. We also take part in an entertaining cooking class.
The trip is completed by visiting the taj Mahal.
The special thing about this tour is that we not only cycle actively along the small roads of Rajasthan, but also visit the most beautiful places.
Afterwards, a beach stay in Goa for a few days is possible.

A relatively easy tour, the heat of Rajasthan at the beginning of October and the end of March, as well as the climbs on the tours through the Aravali mountain range, can make you sweat! Overall, the tour offers balanced bike trails to discover Rajasthan and be active in sports. The daily distances are around 40 to 50 km and flexible.
This cycle tour was created to give the perfect and authentic inside into the rural life of Rajasthan people, which works best on a bicycle. The daily destinations are quite far from each other, therefore transfers are required. To experience as much as possible during the rides and at the destinations, we are adjusting the daily rides. It is always possible to enter and exit the back up car any time.
More information
In Rajasthan, the desert state, it is hot and dry almost all year round. Only the winter months from November to February are a little more pleasant. In any case, take a headgear with you to protect yourself from the strong sunlight.
Rajasthan attracts the most tourists, so tourism provides a livelihood for many locals. Sometimes this can get uncomfortable. Especially in the big cities and tourist strongholds, people are under a lot of pressure to buy something. Often beggars or children come to ask for money, sweets or pens. Here, it should be well thought out who to give something to.
Our accommodations are good hotels, resorts and camps in the 3+ star area. The luxurious tents in the camp have all the amenities of a hotel room.
You will be provided with rental bicycles with suspension and of suitable size.

Wunderbare Reise
