Overview
Just an hour’s drive from Shimla – the capital of the hill state of Himachal Pradesh – lies the beautiful little mountain village of Tata Pani, right on the banks of the Satluj Dam.
Tata Pani means “Hot Water” and is famous for its natural hot sulfur springs that bubble up from the earth at varying temperatures.
Since ancient times, people have known the wonderful therapeutic properties of this water and come from everywhere to take a dip in the sulfur springs: this water provides natural relief for joint pain, fatigue, stress and skin diseases.
It is also a famous pilgrimage center for Hindus; the faithful consider the month of Magha (January-February) auspicious for a holy bath: it is believed to purify one from one’s sins.
In this beautiful place is our Ayurveda Health Center. Directly above the natural hot spring, on the shores of the mighty Satluj and next to a Shiva temple, this place is full of energy.
The Ayurveda Health Centre is a well-kept small resort with beautiful rooms with balconies, two large sun-drenched terraces, a yoga hall, a fully equipped Ayurvedic area and, of course, a bathing area with a public sulfur hot water pool and two smaller private pools.
The trained kitchen team cooks fresh, vegetarian food three times a day to match your Ayurvedic constitution.
We also plan some small excursions and hikes on some days and weekends.
Daily lectures on Ayurveda and Yoga topics are offered, so that you can integrate Yoga and Ayurveda into your everyday life at home.

Hot sulfur spring water
WATER has always been the fundamental element for maintaining and restoring psychophysical balance, being able to invigorate the individual by enveloping, caressing, soothed, revitalising, strengthening and pleasantly reasherizing the body.
The word “Therme” is derived from the Latin word “TERME”, which means that the temperature of the natural water is above 36 degrees Celsius and the water is enriched with healing minerals. The thermal water in the center bubbles from a depth of 150 m underground, at a temperature of 44 degrees with an amount of 100 liters per minute. Our pure, clear and healthy thermal water contains: sulfate, manganese, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and other minerals.
Benefits of sulphur water
The scientific study recognized the therapeutic value of hot sulfur water and considered it beneficial for skin problems, muscle pain, joint pain, blood circulation and breathing problems. Sulphur water is very beneficial for electromagnetic stress (electromagnetic stress we accumulate from mobile phones, computers and electronic objects, etc.). A simple immersion in the hot sulfur water gives you an immediate effect of relief and relaxation. Recent scientific studies recognized the therapeutic values of “Hot Water” and classified it as sodium chloride and sulfur water. Our sulfur-containing water is similar to several European thermal waters.
Our thermal center is equipped with a large, common THERMAL BATH, two PRIVATE POOLS, a KNEIPPKURS (it is a contrast therapy with hot and cold water, ideal for: reactivation of circulation in the lower limbs, improvement of drainage, better tissue oxygenation).
Our thermal centre features a herbal tea lounge with a selection of organic herbal teas and a solarium overlooking Lake Sutlej.

Ayurveda treatments
Ayurveda is the science that uses the principles inherent in nature to eliminate diseases and protect a person’s health by keeping the body, mind and soul of the individual in perfect balance with nature. The aim of this system is to prevent diseases, cure the sick and preserve life. This can be summarised as follows:
To eliminate diseases and dysfunctions of the body (“Aturasya vikara prashamanamcha”).
PROTECT health and prolong life (“Swasthyas swasthya rakshanam”)
Ayurvedic manuscripts teach us about the life-extending therapies that would transform and rejuvenate every cell of the body into a youthful and vital one. In this state of relaxation, it is possible to remove toxins from the tissues and release deep-seated emotional tensions while balancing the “doshas”.
Each patient’s treatment plan is selected after a full clinical assessment of their physical condition, health concerns and goals. Our Vaidyas (Ayurveda doctors) will then develop a program that meets the individual needs of the individual.
PANCHA KARMA
Panchakarma (which literally means “five actions”) is the word for the five different procedures used in Ayurveda that are believed to purify the body. It is a cleansing therapy for the promotion of the metabolic process through food and herbal medicines. It is used both for deep-rooted chronic diseases and for seasonal imbalances of tri-doshas. As the waste materials are excreted from the body, the person becomes healthy. To stay healthy and fit, panchakarma methods should be performed to cleanse and maintain the body.
We understand that Panchakarma is a complex system and that the best results are achieved by the body through panchakarma (preprocedures, karma and post procedures). As a result, this perfect process can take more time, but is more effective. Greens works together to cure and prevent disease and rejuvenate the body, as well as the healing touch of experienced Panchakarma therapists. We practice the so-called holistic approach with a scientific perspective from this proven system of medicine.

To achieve this goal, rejuvenation therapy includes: synkronizing body massage with medical oil or cream, shirodhara, medical steam bath, herbal face mask, etc. along with internal rejuvenation drugs. This is the most important treatment in Ayurveda to reduce aging processes, stop the degeneration of the body cells and increase the defense mechanism. The package includes: body massage, Snehapana, Virechanam, Nasyam, Sneavasthi, Dhara, Pizhchil, Njavarakizhi, Tarpanam, Shirovasthi, Karnapooranam, medical steam bath. NEUROTHERAPY/SCHRÖPFKOPFTHERAPIE
Neurotherapy is an alternative form of medicine. The basic idea of therapy is to place glass or silicone cups on the patient’s skin to create a vacuum so that the blood is sucked to the skin surface at certain areas of the body in need of healing. Neurotherapy promotes blood circulation and increases blood circulation to muscles and tissues, provides oxygen to cells, dissolves nodes and can release and dissipate excess fluids and toxins.
