Chalo Reisen indien Ayurveda tata Pani

Just an hour’s drive from Shimla – the capital of the mountain state of Himachal Pradesh – lies the beautiful little mountain village Tata Pani right on the banks of the Satluj Dam.

“Tata Pani” means “Hot Water” and is famous for its natural hot sulfur spring, which bubbles out of the earth at different temperatures.

Since ancient times, people have known the wonderful therapeutic properties of this water and come from everywhere to take a dip in the sulfur springs: this water provides natural relief for joint pain, fatigue, stress and skin diseases.
It is also a famous pilgrim center for Hindus; believers regard the month of Magha (January-February) as promising for a holy bath: it is believed that it can cleanse one’s sins.

In this beautiful place is our Ayurveda Health Center situated. Directly above the natural hot spring, on the shores of the mighty Satluj and next to a Shiva temple, this place is full of energy.

The Ayurveda Health Centre is a well-kept small resort with beautiful rooms with balconies, two large sun-drenched terraces, a yoga hall, a fully equipped Ayurvedic area and, of course, a bathing area with a public sulfur hot water pool and two smaller private pools.

The trained kitchen team cooks fresh, vegetarian food three times a day to match your Ayurvedic constitution.

We also plan some small excursions and hikes on some days and weekends.

Daily we are offering talks about Ayurveda and Yoga, so that you can apply these ancient healing methods also back at home.

Hot sulfur spring water

WATER has always been the fundamental element for maintaining and restoring psychophysical balance, being able to invigorate the individual by enveloping, caressing, soothed, revitalising, strengthening and pleasantly reasherizing the body.
The word “thermal bath” is derived from the Latin word “TERME”, which means that the temperature of the natural water is above 36 degrees Celsius and the water is enriched with healing minerals. The thermal water in the center bubbles from a depth of 150 m underground, at a temperature of 44 degrees with an amount of 100 liters per minute. Our pure, clear and healthy thermal water contains: sulfate, manganese, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and other minerals.

Benefits of sulphur water

The scientific study recognized the therapeutic value of hot sulfur water and considered it beneficial for skin problems, muscle pain, joint pain, blood circulation and breathing problems. Sulphur water is very beneficial for electromagnetic stress (electromagnetic stress we accumulate from mobile phones, computers and electronic objects, etc.). A simple immersion in the hot sulfur water gives you an immediate effect of relief and relaxation. Recent scientific studies recognized the therapeutic values of “hot water” and classified it as sodium chloride and sulfur water. Our sulfur-containing water is similar to several European thermal waters.

Our thermal center is equipped with a large, common THERMAL BATH, two PRIVATE POOLS, a KNEIPPKURS (it is a contrast therapy with hot and cold water, ideal for: reactivation of circulation in the lower limbs, improvement of drainage, better tissue oxygenation).
Our thermal centre features a herbal tea lounge with a selection of organic herbal teas and a solarium overlooking Lake Sutlej.

Exquisite rooms overlooking the Tatta Pani mountain valley with private balconies. Wake up overlooking the green hills of Himachal.

Room with lake views and a private balcony overlooking the blue waters of Sutlej Lake.

The organic restaurant is located in the middle of the lobby, from where you have a breathtaking view of the lake. The restaurant is attached to a spacious terrace with a romantic view of the lake. It is divine to catch a glimpse of the sun’s rays, which are reflected by the lake at sunset and spread across the horizon.

We will spoil you with dishes prepared according to the different phases of your retreat. Ayurvedic dishes are prepared according to the requirements and suggestions of the doctor. Our commitment is to serve 100% organic foods. So far, we are able to reach 60 %of them and will do so in the near future to 100%.

The menu includes both traditional favorites and new dishes that combine Eastern dishes with Western twists.

Favourites include traditional Indian dishes from the northern and southern parts of India and local Himachali delicacies.

Meals will be served in the form of a buffet, but there will also be bespoke meals tailored to each individual’s specific doshas and treatments.

Ayurveda treatments

Ayurveda is the science that uses the principles inherent in nature to eliminate diseases and protect a person’s health by keeping the body, mind and soul of the individual in perfect balance with nature. The aim of this system is to prevent diseases, cure the sick and preserve life. This can be summarised as follows:

For the elimination of diseases and dysfunctions of the body (“Aturasya vikara prashamanamcha”)
Protect health and prolong life (“Swasthyas swasthya rakshanam”)

Ayurvedic manuscripts teach us about the life-extending therapies that would transform and rejuvenate every cell of the body into a youthful and vital one. In this state of relaxation, it is possible to remove toxins from the tissue and release deep-seated emotional tensions while balancing the “doshas”.

Each patient’s treatment plan is selected after a full clinical assessment of their physical condition, health concerns and goals. Our Vaidyas (Ayurveda doctors) will then develop a program that meets the individual needs of the individual.

Panchakarma (which literally means “five actions”) is the word for the five different methods used in Ayurveda that are believed to cleanse the body. It is a cleansing therapy for the promotion of the metabolic process through food and herbal medicines. It is used both for deep-rooted chronic diseases and for seasonal imbalances of tri-doshas. As the waste materials are excreted from the body, the person becomes healthy. To stay healthy and fit, panchakarma methods should be performed to cleanse and maintain the body.

We understand that Panchakarma is a complex system and that the best results are achieved by the body through panchakarma (preprocedures, karma and post procedures). As a result, this perfect process can take more time, but is more effective. Greens works together to cure and prevent disease and rejuvenate the body, as well as the healing touch of experienced Panchakarma therapists. We practice the so-called holistic approach with a scientific perspective from this proven system of medicine.

Ayurveda, the knowledge of life, refers not only to the body, but also to mind and soul. This particular program is very helpful for conditions such as insomnia and anxiety; it improves immunity and self-confidence. This treatment program includes: body massage, Shirovasti, Ksheera-Dhara, Taila-Dhara, Thalam, Thalapothichil, internal Ayurvedic medicine, yoga and meditation.

Ayurveda & Naturopathy offers very effective treatments for all types of psoriasis and other skin diseases, as most of them are psychosomatic.
This special treatment program includes: Abhyangam, special lepanam, pizhichil, medical steam bath, shirovasthi, mud therapy, exclusively prepared internal herbal medicine, yoga and meditation.

The main places for arthritic manifestations on the spine are the lumbar and cervical spine region. This treatment program is used to keep the spine and neck healthy and to heal the associated problems. The program includes: special massage, Kativasthi, Sneavasthi, Kashayavasthi, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, special exercises, ect. Also very effective in cervical spondylosis, osteoporosis, cross pain, sciatica.

As the body ages, the various cells and tissues of the body change; therefore, it is necessary to rejuvenate the body system in order to achieve a better harmony of body, mind and soul. To achieve this goal, rejuvenation therapy includes: synkronizing body massage with medical oil or cream, shirodhara, medical steam bath, herbal face mask, etc. along with internal rejuvenation drugs. Therapy should continue for 7 to 14 days.

This is the most important treatment in Ayurveda to reduce aging processes, stop the degeneration of the body cells and increase the defense mechanism. The internal administration of “Rasayana” (a special Ayurvedic medicine) is the main part of this program, along with panchkarma and swedakarma treatments. The package includes: body massage, Snehapana, Virechanam, Nasyam, Sneavasthi, Dhara, Pizhchil, Njavarakizhi, Tarpanam, Shirovasthi, Karnapooranam, medical steam bath. This program is more effective if taken before the age of 60.

Neurotherapy is an alternative form of medicine. The basic idea of therapy is to place glass or silicone cups on the patient’s skin to create a vacuum so that the blood is sucked to the skin surface at certain areas of the body in need of healing. Neurotherapy promotes blood circulation and increases blood circulation to muscles and tissues, provides oxygen to cells, dissolves nodes and can release and dissipate excess fluids and toxins.
There are three different traditional cupping methods: dry, wet and massage.

For the beauty conscious, this special treatment program includes: herbal face wrap, herbal cream massage, herbal oil massage, herbal tea and steam bath. This program increases the complexion and skin tone, embellishes the body figure and also helps you to feel young.

Is a combination of yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic therapies in a holistic method. This program is very effective for stress management as well as for turning body and mind and helps you to achieve the moderations of the mind. The therapy lasts 3 to 4 hours per day for 7 to 14 days; it includes: yoga, meditation, rejuvenation massage, rejuvenation therapy, Dhara, Njavarakizhi, Talam, herbal steam bath, mud pack and taking herbal medications.
